Shop Information

In 1594, Kungyokudo was opened in front of Nishihongwanji as a chemist. The shop is still running its business at the same place today. From that time, we have sold incense to the temples and head temples of each school of Buddhism across Japan. With more than 400　years history of heritage, Kungyokudo produce unique and gentle scents in keeping with our tradition as the leading old Kyoto incense business.

How to order

1. Please fill in the mail order form.

2. We will send you a confirmation e-mail. It contains details of the total cost including the delivery charge.
※Please allow us a few days to calculate the delivery charge.
※You can cancel your order any time up until this stage.

3. Please reply to us after checking the e-mail. Once you agree with the total price, please let us know your credit card details either by e-mail or FAX.

4. All parcels are dispatched after your credit card payment is taken. We will inform you by e-mail with an EMS tracking number once your parcel is dispatched.

Please understand that some of our products are limited in stock.
According to circumstances, the price and package will be changed.

Payment method

We accept credit card payment. We cannot accept any credit cards where the cardholder's name does not match the customer's name.

Delivery information

Orders are posted via Express Mail Service (EMS). Delivery charges will be paid by the customer. In the case of customs charges or any other requested extra charges, it will be the customers' responsibility to pay them.

Delivery time
